Which brings me to the thread title: what mods do you consider essential for this game? Ideally I'd like to get it in a state where it's at least half decent to look at without having to worry about the game crashing every other time I load into a new area. How big will the Frontier Mod be Size wise, this is shaping up to be one of if not the largest mod released for New Vegas, and perhaps on any Bethesda game.

Every mod of this nature that Ive tried has not worked above level 50 so I decided to whip one up of my own. I've already had some mods installed before, but I fucked the game up after messing around with the load order in Nexus, so now I have to do a fresh install. I don't know of any mod that does what you're asking for, but there are save editors available for the original Fallout that let you give a character whichever perks you want, that might work just for trying some out.
